Builders Without Borders News

July update

We are now exactly 6 months away from the first group leaving for Rwamagana in Rwanda.

The purpose of this trip is to build a brand new school from the ground up. We will be building two 120’x32’ buildings with 5 classrooms in each building and one 120'x32' building for meeting space and office.  In order to organize a trip like this we REALLY need to know who is interested in going.

The first group is leaving Fort Myers on Thursday the 8th of January and will be back in Fort Myers on Sunday the 18th of January.  The second group will leave Fort Myers on Thursday the 15th of January and will be back in Fort Myers on Sunday the 25th of January.  If you are leaving from another city in the USA the dates are the same, we all will meet up in Washington DC the 8 and the 15 at our hotel.

The cost for 11 days in Rwanda is approximately $2600.00 and if you stay the full 18 days the cost is approximately $3000.00.  Included in this price is, return flight on Ethiopia Airline, Hotel in Rwamagana, all meals in Rwanda, health insurance, all transportation and a one day excursion.

Builders without Borders would like everyone who knows that you are going to email us so we can start to get a picture of who will be going on this amazing trip.

What we need to know is:
 1) Full name, as written on your US Passport
2) Are you going on group one leaving the 8th?
3) Are you going on group two leaving the 15th?
4) Do you prefer single room (cost might be more)?
5) Do you prefer double room where you share a room with somebody?
6) Your email address

We don't need a deposit of $200.00 as of yet, however we do need the total amount no later than October the 15th 2014. (More to come on this at a later date)

This is really important to us because this is our only way 6 months out to get an idea of who and how many already know that they are going, so please emailpeterfenger@comcast.net with your information.

Also next week all the materials are being ordered, which means most likely we will be loading the containers at the end of August at Suncoast Lumber. When we know for sure the exact date we will let you know in case you want to come and help load. This is a great way to meet a lot of the people going on the trip.

If you have any questions you can contact either:
